The 32nd annual North Iowa TubaChristmas concert will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in Southbridge Mall’s Center Court in Mason City.

Any tuba, sousaphone, euphonium or baritone player who would like to play should attend rehearsal at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Mason City High School band room. Registration is at 10. Bring an instrument decorated with ornaments, lights, or Christmas colors, a Santa hat and music stand.

Starting in 1985 with six players, North Iowa TubaChristmas has become one of the largest in the nation, and traditionally the largest in the state, drawing more than 100 player annually from North Iowa and southern Minnesota. It's also one of Iowa’s longest running TubaChristmas events.
