NORTHWOOD — The Worth County Development Authority will offer $75 back-to-school gift cards through Friday, Aug. 21, for parents of Worth County students in grades K-12.
The cards, for children living in Worth County, may be picked up by parents during this time at the WCDA office, 91 Eighth Street N., Northwood.
Pick-up hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Gift cards may be used for school supplies, shoes or clothes for the school-aged student. Parents of open-enrolled students must bring proof of children being enrolled.
Parents of divorce of dual-county residency must also bring in paperwork showing joint custody.
Parents of kindergarten students or new residents must wait until the student is registered. A valid Worth County ID must be presented at time of pick up.
Every card will be checked. If the card has not been used for intended purposes, that family loses their gift cards for the next year.
There are no exceptions.
