NORA SPRINGS — A Nora Springs man was listed in fair condition Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center — North Iowa following a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Floyd County.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, Jesse Germundson, 22, was northbound on Glass Avenue near the intersection with 220th Street at 12:52 p.m. when he lost control of his 2002 Lincoln. The vehicle slid into the ditch, struck a culvert and rolled. Germundson was partially ejected from the vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital by Mercy Air Med with unknown injuries, according to the sheriff’s report.

The investigation into the accident is continuing and charges are pending, the Sheriff’s Department reports.

The Iowa State Patrol, Rockford Police Department, AMR Ambulance, Marble Rock First Responders, Rockford Fire Department, Rudd Fire Department and Nora Springs Fire Department assisted at the scene.
