SHEFFIELD — A New Jersey man was arrested on drug-related charges Sunday morning after the vehicle he was in rolled into a house in Sheffield.
Fabrice Emogene, of New Jersey, was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
According to law enforcement, around 7:37 a.m. Sunday a car driven by Christian Bruno, of Berkeley Heights, N.J., went out of control and rolled at the intersection of Grant and Lincoln streets in Sheffield.
The vehicle hit a house at 227 Lincoln St., damaging the garage.
No one was injured, but during an investigation just over four pounds of marijuana was found, according to the press release.
Bruno was charged with failure to maintain control and failure to obey a stop sign.
The Sheffield Police Department was assisted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Hampton Police Department and Sheffield Fire Department.
