MASON CITY — A Mason City man was injured in a car-motorcycle accident Sunday night.
Robert Snook, 27, was transported by Mason City Fire Department medics to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. He was treated and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The accident took place shortly after 9 p.m. at State Street and Washington Avenue.
Snook, who was on a motorcycle, and Ronald Hays, 83, of Marshalltown, who was driving a car, were both southbound on Washington when Hays made a left turn from the right lane and collided with the motorcycle, according to a report from the Mason City Police Department.
Hays was charged with improper use of lanes.
