MASON CITY | North Iowa businesses are encouraged to involve summer interns in a program designed to connect young workers to the community and to each other in a new program sponsored by the Mason City Chamber of Commerce.
“College Connections” will provide a series of social and educational activities on a once-a-week schedule from June 1 to July 27.
Chamber members will serve as “Lunch & Learn” speakers on a variety of topics relevant to college students and new graduates, including networking, managing credit and working with different personality styles.
Several social activities are also planned.
Those interested in registering should visit the chamber's website or call 641-423-5724 for more information.
The program is free for chamber members; $100 for non-members.
