MASON CITY | A Mason City man is in jail Wednesday after being accused of indecent exposure.
William Nathan Hill, 71, was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure after an incident at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Sixth Place Southeast.
According to court documents, a woman heard a knock at her window while letting her dog outside about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman said she looked over and saw Hill was naked and stroking his genitals, the criminal complaint said. The woman then turned away and went back into the apartment building.
Hill was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail about 9:44 a.m. Wednesday morning. He is being held on a $1,000 bond.
No court date has been set.
In 2015, Hill was fined $100 for throwing a bag containing a live cat into the Winnebago River. The cat, nicknamed "Winnie" was adopted by a St. Paul, Minnesota, man.
