LAKE MILLS | A Mason City man was charged with OWI after a rollover crash early Sunday near Lake Mills.
The Worth County Sheriff's Office said in a news release it responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 105, east of Apricot Lane, about 5:20 a.m. Sunday. That's about 2 miles east of Lake Mills.
First responders found a red Ford Focus in the south ditch, the sheriff's office said. The driver, Jordan Ray Hall, 21, was not injured.
The responding deputy found a black bag in the back seat of the vehicle containing alcoholic beverage containers, the sheriff's office said.
Hall consented to field sobriety testing, and at the Worth County Jail, registered a .088 blood alcohol content, according to court documents. Iowa's legal limit is .08.
Hall was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence -- first offense.
No court date has been set.
