MASON CITY | A Mason City man has been arrested after punching a Hy-Vee Drugstore employee.
Employees at the Mason City store were trying to stop Jared Michael Osmon, 18, for an alleged theft when he punched an employee in the face and attempted to get away, court documents say.
Osmon was charged with felony second-degree robbery in the incident, which was reported around 11:05 a.m. Oct. 24.
He remains in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing has been set for Friday.
