Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of East State Street on Tuesday in Mason City. No arrests were made at the time, but police said suspected narcotics and paraphernalia were located during the search.

MASON CITY | A search warrant Tuesday in Mason City yielded suspected drugs but no arrests, according to law enforcement. 

The Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 434 E. State St. about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release. 

During the search, law enforcement said they found “a quantity of suspected narcotics and paraphernalia” in the residence.

No arrests were made. The case is still under investigation.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Mason City Police Department, North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Group assisted at the scene.

The sheriff’s department is asking anyone with information related to potentially illegal activity at that location to contact the department at 641-421-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 800-383-0088.
