CLEAR LAKE | A Clear Lake man was arrested after police said a search warrant turned up cocaine and marijuana.
Kevin Eugene Rucker, 41, was charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At about 12:35 p.m. Nov. 30, Clear Lake police executed a search warrant at Rucker’s home in the 200 block of Wesley Drive.
During the search, police said cocaine was found in Rucker’s bedroom. Marijuana and various drug paraphernalia was found in the home as well, according to court documents.
According to the criminal complaint, Rucker admitted to possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Rucker has been convicted of drug related offenses twice before — in July 2007 in Cerro Gordo County and November 2007 in Las Vegas, according to court documents.
Rucker was booked at Cerro Gordo County Jail Wednesday and later released on his own recognizance after his initial appearance.
He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 5.
