GARNER — A Scarville man facing four felony forgery charges will be arraigned in Hancock County District Court in December.

Jacob Aaron Schimmelpfennig, 30, was arrested on Nov. 4 after the Britt Police Department said he cashed checks totaling $1,150 at a local bank without the permission of the account holders.

According to court documents, Schimmelpfennig allegedly cashed checks for $200, $250, $300 and $400 at First State Bank between June and October.

His arraignment is Dec. 5 at the Hancock County Courthouse. Schimmelpfennig is required to appear for arraignment unless a written arraignment is filed prior to the hearing.

Schimmelpfennig was being held on $5,000 bond in the Cerro Gordo County Jail before he posted it on Nov. 15.
