MASON CITY | The Squeaky Wheel Tour is scheduled to appear in Mason City on Tuesday highlighting the plight of missing persons in Iowa, including Mason City's Jodi Huisentruit.
The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Church of Christ, 710 N. Kentucky Ave. The suggested donation at the door is $10.
The tour was started by Californian Jannel Rapp, whose sister, Gina Marie Bos, went missing in 2000 from Lincoln, Nebraska. Her case remains unsolved.
The GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation’s mission is to educate the public by using entertainment to create awareness and media attention for missing persons worldwide and to offer a source of information to help people whose family members become missing.
The event is sponsored by AL YAD, a Mason City nonprofit organization that supplies foster families with the supplies they need to welcome new foster children into their homes.
