CLEAR LAKE — Christmas By The Lake, a holiday festival which draws thousands of visitors, rolled into its 22nd year Saturday.
Saturday’s events included the annual lighted Christmas parade through the downtown. A long line of children waited outside Santa’s House for a chance to visit with Jolly Old St. Nick.
Christmas By The Lake kicked off Friday with the opening night of the Opportunity Village Festival of Trees.
Sunday’s highlights include the Polar Bear Club dip for charity at City Beach at 12:30 p.m. Families can watch “The Secret Life of Pets” at the Lake Theatre at 1 p.m. Donations to Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank will be accepted.
