MASON CITY | The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled into Mason City Wednesday night, stopping long enough to provide entertainment and spur donations to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank.

The train stopped at the railroad yard at 904 S. Pennsylvania Ave., where Canadian artists Terri Clark, Dallas Smith and Kelly Prescott performed.

Non-perishable items and cash were donated to the Food Bank.

The train stopped in Grafton earlier on Wednesday and is scheduled to stop in Charles City at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the intersection of Main Street and Grand Avenue.
