Frank Lloyd Wright’s Stockman House is closed for the season, open by appointment only for tours during the winter months.

During the summer tourist season, the 61 volunteers with the River City Society for Historic Preservation shared Wright’s Stockman House with 3,152 visitors.

Tourists came from every state in the United States except Hawaii, as well as 19 foreign countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Scotland, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, and Tajikistan. According to Chip Kinsey, RCSHP president, these visitors to Mason City added more than a half million dollars to the local economy.
