The St. Ansgar girls went 2-1 on the week with victories over Nashua-Plainfield 62-35 and Rockford 41-28 and a loss to West Fork 42-41.

Junior Molly Jenkins led the charge in the victory over Nashua-Plainfield with a 16-point effort from the field and seven total rebounds. Freshman Hali Anderson and junior Jadyn Anderson added 10 point efforts. Junior Tanyon Schutjer led the team with eight rebounds.

In the 42-41 win over West Fork, senior Elizabeth Jenkins led the Saints with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Anderson scored 8 points. She also set the St. Ansgar record for steals in a season. She has 80; the previous record was 76.

St. Ansgar went on to host Northwood-Kensett on Tuesday, but scores weren’t available at press time.
