West Hancock (3-17) racked up its third win of the season with a defeat of Belmond-Klemme (1-15) in four sets, 25-13, 25-22, 16-25, 25-17.

Senior Sydney Hudspeth and sophomore Emily Ryerson led the team with three kills each. Seniors Sydney Burgardt and Kaitlyn Ohrt followed close behind with two kills each. Hudspeth also added an impressive four aces from the line.

On defense, senior Sydney Zamago had nine digs and junior Gabrielle Bell had seven. Burgardt had five solo blocks and Ryerson had three.

The Eagles took on Bishop Garrigan in Algona on Tuesday, but results weren’t available at press time. They will travel to North Iowa, Buffalo Center on Saturday.
