The Riceville Wildcats completed their season with a 44-28 victory over Dunkerton at home.

Senior quarterback Jon Miller led the team’s ground game with 292 yards on 40 attempts and four touchdowns. Senior Grand Shendenhelm was also a key component of the offense with 47 yards rushing and 14 reception yards for one touchdown.

Senior Kaleb Tweite highlighted the night with a 60-yard kick-off return for touchdown on special teams.

Miller was also a game-changer on defense, recording a 32-yard interception and 6.5 tackles. Leading the defense in tackles was senior Boe Adams with 10 tackles, including three solo tackles for loss and two solo sacks.

The Wildcats will host Tripoli in the first round of the playoffs on Friday for a chance to avenge their week one 34-30 loss.
