The Green Devils competed in a dual meet with Don Bosco on Tuesday and traveled to the Battle of Waterloo on Friday.
Don Bosco defeated Osage overall by a team score of 57-18. But the Green Devils would rack up three victories, including two pins by behind Mitchell Schotanus (152), No. 7 in 2A Zach Williams (160).
Osage’s No. 4 in Class 2A Averee Abben (106) fell to No. 1 in Class 1A Daniel Kimball. The fifth-ranked Michael McClelland (113) in 1A defeated Osage’s No. 10 in 2A Joe Sullivan.
On Friday, Osage dropped its first dual to Iowa City High 54-21, bounced back with a 51-27 over Pleasant Valley and then lost to Epworth, Western Dubuque 55-23 in the fifth-place match.
Williams, Abben, Sullivan and Joe Jacobs went 3-0 on Friday.
Osage went 1-2 as a team on Saturday, grabbing a 55-23 victory over Charles City and losing to Indianola 46-32 and Mason City 39-33.
Sullivan, Ryan Adams, Brody Roll and Williams were each 3-0 for the Green Devils on Saturday.
