The Osage girls continued their winning streak this week, defeating North Union and Columbus Catholic.

The Green Devils kicked off the week with a 64-53 defeat of North Union.

Sophomore Mia Knudsen piled up the points going 5 for 10 from the field, including three 3-pointers and adding two from the line for 15 points. Senior Gabby Schwarting also added three 3-pointers in her 4-for-9 effort from the field, racking up 12 points.

Junior Rylie Olson topped the charts with 10 rebounds and three steals while sophomore Sidney Brandau also added a 10-point effort.

In their 79-52 defeat of Columbus Catholic, Schwarting and Olson each put up 12 points, including three 3s by Schwarting. Schwarting also added five assists and four steals.

Topping the rebound charts was senior Madi Johnson, who had six total rebounds while adding an 11-point offensive effort. Knudsen and senior Brenna Jacobs each racked up double-digit numbers with 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Green Devils take on New Hampton, at home, on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the next round of the post season.
