For all of Osage’s improvement on the football field this season, the Green Devils were rewarded with 10 all-district selections.

Lucas Schwamman, Dalton Wright, Mike Uthe, Gage Belz, Drew Olson and Hunter Wagner were each first-team selections.

Schwamman, a junior who made the team as a receiver, led the Green Devils with six touchdown receptions as he hauled in 15 receptions for 273 yards.

Wright, who is a junior, was part of an offensive line unit that helped the Green Devils to 2,422 total yards.

Uthe, a senior defensive lineman, made a splash for the Green Devils’ defense with 33 1/2 total tackles, including 6 1/2 for a loss and 1 1/2 sack.

Belz, who made the team as an outside linebacker/defensive end, was second on the team with 59 1/2 tackles, which included 6 1/2 for a loss and two sacks.

Olson, a first-team utility pick, did just about everything for the Devils. He passed for 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns, ran for 267 and six touchdowns, had 28 tackles and was the punter.

Wagner, a utility pick as well, was strong on both sides of the ball as an offensive and defensive lineman. On defense, he led the Green Devils with 73 1/2 tackles, which included five for a loss.

Dylan Aschenbrenner, Hayden Meek, Thurston Taets and Zach Williams were honorable mention selections.
