Osage put up impressive numbers despite a 55-36 loss to the GHV Cardinals.

Senior quarterback Drew Olson went 22-for-46 for 360 yards passing and four touchdowns on Friday. Olson’s passing performance was good for a new school record for passing yards.

Senior Dylan Aschenbrenner was instrumental in that performance, racking up four catches for 106 yards. Senior Lucas Schwamman was the leading scorer of the receiving core with three catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Juniors Hayden Meek and Brett Bobinet recorded the other two receiving touchdowns.

Olson also led the ground game with 56 yards rushing on 11 attempts for one touchdown.

Sophomore Gage Belz highlighted the defense with nine total tackes. Senior Thurston Taets was next in line with eight total tackles. Sophomore Thor Maasksted also had a strong performance with six total tackles, including two for loss and one for a sack.

The Green Devils finished their season with a 4-5 record and will not continue into the postseason.
