OSAGE | The Osage volleyball team put forth another outstanding season with a trip to the state tournament where it fell in the semifinals. Last week, the Green Devils cleaned up a few postseason honors.

Osage landed two players on the Class 3A Iowa Girls Coaches Association all-state team with Kelsey Havel and Rylie Olson. Havel, a senior outside hitter, was a first-team selection, and Olson, a junior setter, made the second team.

Havel finished the season with 334 kills, 234 digs, 61 total blocks, and 23 ace serves. Olson, the school’s all-time leader in assists, finished her junior campaign with 899 assists, 160 digs, 68 blocks and 39 aces.

Waterloo Columbus’ Anna Sinnott was tabbed as the 3A Player of the Year.

Additionally, Brenna Jacobs was an all-district selection.
