Osage boys’ dominated the St. Ansgar Saints on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The Green Devils held the Saints to single-digits in the first half, 41-9 before closing the game for a 75-33 victory.
Senior Colin Klapperich emerged as the top offensive performer with 17 points on a perfect shooting percentage across the board. Klapperich went 6-for-6 from the field, 3-for-3 from the perimeter and 2-for-2 from the line. Klapperich also showed his strengths on defense with four defensive rebounds and one steal.
Senior Lucas Schwamman was the second top-scorer for the Green Devils, going 5-for-6 from the field and 3-for-5 from the line for 13 points. Senior Nathan Bushbaum and sophomore Elijah Bluhm would come close to the double digits, each scoring nine points.
Bluhm emerged as one of the top defensive performers with five steals and two defensive rebounds.
The Green Devils enjoyed a week off before traveling to Greene to play North Butler on Tuesday, but scores weren’t available at press time.
