OSAGE | From Oct. 25-27, 2017, fifteen members of the Osage FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Convention, held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
At the convention, chapter members competed in the Agriculture Issues Leadership Development Event Contest. They competed against 38 other states during the national convention. They had to walk through a meeting taking on various community roles to discuss the topic of safety and use of antibiotics in livestock.
The Osage team received a Bronze rating. Members included Joe Sullivan, Joe Popp, Whitney Hemann, Garrett Meitner, Jarrett Huebsch and Adam Koch.
Another nione members attended with an area group of FFA chapters and had the opportunity to experience all of national convention including sessions, career expo, multiple agriculture tours and a Rascall Flatts concert.
