OSAGE | Kelsey Havel achieved 1,000 career kills while playing at a tournament in Waverly. Kelsey started her march to 1k her freshman year by playing varsity. She was a key player in last year’s post-season run that landed them in Cedar Rapids at State Volleyball.
Rylie Olson reached the 2,000 assist mark in Waverly as well. Rylie, much like Kelsey, has also been playing varsity since freshman year and was a great asset on the run to state as well.
Both achieved honors from the state last year, Kelsey being Third Team All-State and Rylie made Honorable Mention. Both were granted First Team All-Conference in which Rylie was unanimous. All-Area Team is also another title that both carry.
As you can see, both of them have had very successful careers to this point. They both hope to see their seasons end with the company of a trophy granted by the state.
