Lunch ‘n’ Learn

Lunch ‘n’ Learn on Jan. 30 is about the connection between Japanese woodblock prints and abstraction in modern art.


Charles H. MacNider Art Museum continues its Lunch ‘n’ Learn program with the next session at noon Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The program, open to the public, will feature a discussion on “Elements of Composition: Japanese Abstraction and the Modern Art Movement” with guest speaker Joanne Hardinger.

It takes place the last Tuesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m., covering a variety of topics related to American Art, the museum, and the permanent collection.

Participants are invited to bring their lunches.

Current docents are asked to attend, as well as those interested in becoming a docent.
