Forest City got its volleyball season started off the right way last Thursday with a win in straight sets, 25-9, 25-8, 25-10, over Eagle Grove in Top of Iowa Conference West Division action.

Senior Hannah Anderson was a force at the net for the Indians as she tallied a team-best 10 kills and added a 13-14 night at the service line with two aces.

Juniors Cora Holland and Emma Segerstrom added six kills apiece, and Kaylee Miller had five.

Senior setter Brea Dillavou handed out 24 assists for the match, had seven digs and three aces. Natalie Moore was 9-for-9 serving with three aces, and Kelsey Koch added a 19-for-20 night serving with and ace plus five digs.
