Behind two runner-up finishes, Forest City took fourth place at Saturday's North Polk Comet Invitational.
Brock Moore took second place in the 106-pound bracket after losing to Waukee's Connor Kelly in the title match by decision, 6-0. Maximos Soto added a runner-up finish in the 145-pound bracket after losing by technical fall to Boone's Mason Hulse.
Also for the Indians on Saturday, Kaleb Umbaugh finished his day with a victory to take third place at 120 pounds, Gabe Staudt was third at 195, Will Kirschbaum took fourth at 126, Kristian Gunderson was fourth at 152, Evan Larson placed fourth at 285, Austin Kirschbaum was fifth at 113, Brett Walton was fifth at 132, and Jacob Trunkhill brought home fifth at 170.
On Thursday, Forest City went 2-0 as a team in its home triangular. The Indians defeated Belmond-Klemme 60-18 and Garner-Hayfield-Ventura 54-22.
Staudt, Austin Kelso, Evan Larson, Moore, Umbaugh, Kirschbaum, Soto and Trunkhill went undefeated on the night.
