The Forest City girls bowling team wrapped up a great season Monday, Feb. 19, at the state bowling tournament in Waterloo. The Indians finished eighth place with a team score of 2,132.
Forest City came out of the individual competition with a team score of 1,424 and rolled 708 total across baker games.
Senior Shayne Hoeft led the way with a 16th-place finish individually as she rolled a two-game series of 354 (182-172).
Mandy Anzivino took home 31st with a series of 309 (145-164), Phoebe Kozitza was 45th with a 257 (101-156), Fran Wasicek was 47th with a 253 (142-112), Jazmin Trunkhill was 48th with a 251 (131-120) and Greta Oulman placed 50th with a 239 (118-121).
