The Forest City girls basketball had a solid week on the basketball court.
The Indians kicked it off with a key Top of Iowa Conference West Division victory over North Union Tuesday, Jan. 16, and wrapped things up last Friday with a win over North Iowa.
The Indians (No. 12, Class 3A) took a 28-10 lead after the first quarter of Friday's game and never looked back for a 76-30 win over North Iowa.
Hannah Anderson led Forest City with 20 points and Kelsey Koch followed with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Brea Dillavou finished with 12 points.
As a team, the Indians collected 16 steals and dished out 14 assists.
"Our guards had a good game," said head coach Dusty Meyn. "We had a pretty good game all the way around."
Forest City handed North Union its first conference defeat Tuesday night, 41-37.
Anderson led the Indians with 12 points, Becca Seglem had 10, Brea Dillavou added eight points and seven rebounds, and Erin Caylor finished with seven points and seven rebounds.
