It was a mixed bag for the Forest City girls basketball team this past week. On one hand, the Indians took care of Belmond-Klemme on Saturday to close out the week, but on the other, their chances at a conference title took a major hit Friday with a loss at rival West Hancock.
In Saturday's 73-23 win over the Broncos, 10 different players got in the scoring column for Forest City.
Brea Dillavou led the way with 21 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. She also had three blocks. Hannah Anderson also scored in double figures with 13 points of her own.
Becca Seglem tossed in nine points off the bench, Kelsey Koch had six points and six steals, Erin Caylor and Natalie Moore had five points apiece, and Kalin Knudtson, Makayla Kingland and Kaylee Miller each scored four.
In Friday's 52-38 defeat vs. West Hancock, Dilavou finished with a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Anderson finished with 13 points. Seglem and Koch added six and four points, respectively.
