Hannah Anderson tossed in 19 points to lead four Forest City players in double figures as Forest City overcame a slow start to down Garner-Hayfield-Ventura 70-54 on Friday.
The Indians trailed the Cardinals 17-11 after the first quarter, but a 27-point outburst in the second quarter put Forest City up to stay.
Brea Dillavou had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Indians while Noelle Jones and Kelsey Koch added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
The No. 11 (3A) Indians finished a 67-17 victory over Eagle Grove on Nov. 28 with three players scoring in double figures as 10 scored in all.
Anderson finished with 12 points and 5 assists. Dillavou had 11 points and a team-high 9 rebounds while Callie McQuown finished with 12 points.
"We had very balanced scoring, and that's what we want from our team," said coach Dusty Meyn. "I was really proud of the way the girls shared the ball."
Koch added nine points for the Indians, Jones had eight, and Erin Caylor chipped in six off the bench.
Forest City 67, Northwood-Kensett 16
NORTHWOOD | Hannah Anderson led all scorers with 21 points in Saturday's victory against the Vikings.
The Indians jumped out to an early lead, entering the halftime break with a 41-6 lead. Every player scored for Forest City.
The Indians host North Union on Tuesday. They travel to North Iowa on Friday.
