The Forest City wrestling team headed into the winter break with an 0-3 performance in a tough quadrangular at Osage on Friday, Dec. 22. The Indians fell to Osage (45-27), Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (66-12) and New Hampton (66-13).

In the loss to Osage, Brock Moore picked up a win by forfeit at 106, Maximos Soto won by a 16-10 decision at 152, Jacob Trunkhill won by fall at 182, Gabe Staudt won by forfeit at 195, and Evan Larson won by fall at 285.

Against Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Wyatt Gelhaus and Kaleb Umbaugh were the lone victors. Umbaugh won by fall.

Against New Hampton, Moore won by a 9-1 major decision, Gelhaus won by forfeit and Larson picked up a 4-1 win by decision.
