The Forest City boys basketball team moved to 6-0 last week with three more wins added to their resume. The Indians topped North Iowa 59-29 on Friday, beat Algona last Thursday 56-47, and took care of North Union 67-28 on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

In Friday’s win over North Iowa, Sam Snyder led the way for the Indians with 15 points, Zach Miller and Micah Lambert scored nine apiece, and Noah Miller and Chris Jermeland each had eight. Additionally, Avery Busta added two points while grabbing a team-high six rebounds and dishing out a team-best seven assists. Lambert added five rebounds of his own and Snyder had four.

The Indians finished with three players in double figures in Thursday’s win over Algona. Snyder led the way again with 14 points and four rebounds, Ryan Theel drained three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, and Lambert scored 11 off the bench.

Busta added eight points and Grady Hovenga finished with six.

13 different players in the Indians’ win over North Union. Snyder poured in a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the way and Jermeland tossed in 12 points of his own. Also for the Indians, Miller had eight, Busta scored six, Hovenga had five and Lambert scored four.
