While the Forest City boys bowling team was handed its first loss of the season Jan. 19 vs. Decorah, the girls were able to build up some more momentum with a victory over the Vikings.
On the boys’ side, Decorah escaped with a 2,853-2,617 win. Eli Johnson was high for the day for Forest City with scores of 161 and 212. Jarred Thompson was close behind Johnson with games of 165 and 191. They did also have two of their baker games of 234 and 211.
On the girls’ side, the Indians improved to 5-2 with a 2,383-2,142. Leading the way for Forest City was Fran Wasicek with games of 151 and 187 and Mandy Anzivino with games of 146 and 176.
