FOREST CITY | In the wins-losses column, it was a tough season for the Forest City football team. That doesn’t mean the Indians didn’t have a few standout players, though.

Forest City had five players named to the Class 2A, District 2 all-district teams – Blaze Andersen, Sam Snyder and Chris Jermeland were each first-team selections.

Andersen, a junior receiver, caught 33 passes for 398 yards and two touchdowns.

Snyder, a senior who made the all-district team as a utility player, hauled in 27 receptions for 291 yards and four touchdowns, and added 56 tackles and one interception on defense.

Jermeland, a senior linebacker, led the team with 75 1/2 total tackles, which included eight for a loss. He also picked off two passes.

Luke Johnson and Spencer Larson were each honorable mention selections.
