FOREST CITY | Darin Fisher won in a sudden death playoff on the second hole to win the Mercedes Benz/Freightliner Pro-Am Tournament in Forest City Aug. 18-19.

Fisher, the head pro at the Preserve at Rathburn Lake, made a 10-foot birdie putt to win after Zach Steffen missed his birdie put.

At the end of 36 holes played at Bear Creek Golf Course, both Fisher and Steffen had a two-day total of 131 (11 under par).

Fisher won $5,000 for finishing first.

Placing third in the pro competition was Matt Mickelson with a score of 133.

Winners of the team competition were Ron Lichtsinn, Jason Sopko, Jason Gerdes and Eric Lewis, who finished with a two-day net score of 103.08.

The second-place team was Brian deBurh, Adam Jackson, Derek Mueller and Tommy Schorer, who scored 105.16.

The team of Jade Johnson, Mat Rauk, Mike Vinci and Rich Honsey placed third with a score of 105.72.
