FOREST CITY – Waldorf College men's basketball player Erik Brewer was named a second-team all-conference selection by the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) this season.
Brewer earned all-conference honors for the fourth time in his career. The 6-foot-6 senior forward from Las Vegas helped lead the Warriors to a 16-14 record, tying the school record in wins since joining the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Brewer led the team in scoring, averaging 18.9 points per game. He hit 186 of 406 (45.8 percent) shots from the field, knocked down 55 of 136 (40.4 percent) attempts from 3-point range and converted on 120 of 148 (81.1 percent) trips to the free-throw line. Brewer concluded his career as Waldorf's all-time leader in points (1,803) and rebounds (614) while finishing second in blocks (90).
The Warriors concluded the season in the NSAA Tournament quarterfinals, falling to eventual tournament champion Dakota State University.
