OWATONNA, Minn. | Locally owned and operated Community Bank Owatonna (CBO) has hired Tim Kluender as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Kluender, who began his duties on September 25 and also has joined the bank’s Board of Directors, brings 24 years of banking experience to the role, including the last 15 years in an executive management capacity.
Kluender's banking career includes Manufacturer’s Bank & Trust (MBT) from 1996-1999 where he served as the bank’s Assistant Vice President. After leaving MBT he advanced to positions that included branch management, market management, and most recently was Senior Vice President/Chief Credit Officer with First National Bank in Fairfield.
While living in Forest City, his wife, Sherry, served as the Director of the Forest City Chamber of Commerce.
The couple plans to relocate to Owatonna as soon as their home in Iowa is sold.
