FOREST CITY | Halloween weekend was a busy time throughout Forest City.

On Friday, Oct. 27, the Forest City Education Foundation hosted a fundraiser at Cabin Coffee Company. Cabin Coffee donated all tips from the night and a portion of the proceeds from drink and food sales to the Foundation.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, pheasant hunters were invited to relax and enjoy a free luncheon after a tiring and successful morning of hunting at Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, Forest City.

Also on Saturday, Oct. 28, Bear Creek Golf Course held its annual Chili Open. Team paid an entry fee and provided a crockpot of chili.
