Mike DelVisco will share bass fishing tips during the Iowa Boat, RV & Vacation Show at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.


CEDAR FALLS — Boating and outdoor enthusiasts will get first look at summer at the 29th Annual Iowa Boat, RV, and Vacation Show Jan. 20-22 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.

Marine and recreational vehicle dealers will be on hand, and exhibits and special performances for families and anglers will also be featured and are included with admission.

Exhibits include family resorts, fishing camps, sportfishing charters, campgrounds and tourism destinations.

Local magician and Las Vegas showman Kevin Barnes is scheduled to appear with an act that includes a floating table and a few audience volunteer routines. With more than 11,000 performances at the Excalibur Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, Barnes is an illusionist and magician who has mastered audience participation. Shows will be on the upper north concourse of the UNI-Dome and are included in the price of admission.

Seminars will offer tips to anglers, and area professional angler Tommy Skarlis will share tactics on catching crappie and walleye all three days. Mike DelVisco will be featured throughout the show sharing bass fishing tips. Ice fishing expert and product representative Todd Reed will be on hand Saturday.

Show hours are 3-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. Admission is $7; youth 12 and under are free. Friday admission is $5. Parking is free.
