HAMPTON — Join Billboard charting artist Diana Upton-Hill and her band, Nashville Santas, at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at the Windsor Theatre.
The evening is billed as sparkling vocals and masterful instrumentals with the sincerity of Nashville and the pizzazz of Vegas.
The Diana Upton-Hill concert is a holiday fundraising event with proceeds going toward ongoing maintenance and repairs of the 103-year-old Windsor Theatre.
Upton-Hill is a nationally-recognized recording and touring artist, with numerous recordings to her credit. Her latest single, ”Southern Gentlemen,” reached the Top 30 nationally with eight weeks on the Billboard music charts.
Tickets are available at the Chamber office at Center One, 5 First St. S.W., Hampton, 641-456-5668. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
Upton-Hill’s appearance is sponsored by Christensen Jewelry, First Security Bank & Trust, State Farm Insurance/Holly Narber and Renaissance Restoration of Galena, Illinois.
The Windsor Theatre, the only first-run movie theater in Franklin County, also serves as home of the Franklin County Arts Council.
It was built in 1913 as a meeting place for the Knights of Pythias and as a venue for traveling road shows.
