BOLAN — The Bolan community is hosting its 14th annual “Bolan Fall Market” Saturday, Sept. 24.
A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be 8-10 a.m. at the Bolan Schoolhouse & Cultural Center for a freewill donation.
The 16th annual Bike Ride leaves Bolan at 9 a.m., traveling through Grafton, Carpenter and St. Ansgar. Registration is at 8 a.m. and cost is is $10.
The United Methodist Church Women’s traditional bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bolan Schoolhouse lower level, and will serve a scalloped potatoes and ham lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Homemade pie and ice cream will be available from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tulip Lane.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be vendors under the maple trees and along Tulip Lane, and Pat Doyle of Doyle Chainsaw Carving Niche of Floyd will carve animals and other objects from logs. Keyboard musician Sam Crosser will perform from 8 a.m. to noon.
At 1 p.m., the M&MS (Music & Ministry Servants), will perform in the upper level of the schoolhouse. The area musicians include Amy (Ringham) Thorland, Mary Ann Olsen, Sherrie (Hansen) Decker, Mike Holstad, Darla Thompson, and Merle Aanrud.
