CLEAR LAKE — The Clear Lake Arts Center received 38 works of art from 17 artists for its “A Review of Blue” exhibit.
Works by Craig Birkenholtz, Christina Blum, Delores Frederick, Mike Hassig, Craig Kienast, Wendy Kuhl, Becky Kyhl, Susan Nagle, Laura Nicholson, P. O’Brien Tyrrell, Diane O’Hern, Renae Quandt, Jim Reynolds, Tracy Sweet, Jo Anne Willemsen and Chris White-Rozendaal are on display in the Hanson Gallery through Saturday, Feb. 20.
There will be a ‘meet the artists’ reception and awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the arts center, 17 S. Fourth St.
In the case of inclement weather, it will be 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
The exhibit is being held in conjunction with the arts center’s January Jam, “Beat Them Low Down and Dirty Winter Blues,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Doors open at 7.
It will feature a night of music with blues guitarist Melvin LaVert, accompanied by Andy Blumenthal on harmonica.
Admission is free; a freewill offering will be accepted.
Beer, wine and refreshments will be available for purchase.
