Music lovers pack the Duncan Community Center for the annual Duncan Fest celebration.

The 15th annual Duncanfest will be Sept. 16-17 in the Duncan Community Ballroom, with four bands, all featured on Mollie B’s Polka Party on RFD-TV, peforming.

Dancing starts at noon Saturday with hometown band Malek’s Fishermen alternating with Mark Vyhlidal and his Orchestra from Fremont, Nebraska. Adam Sandhurst’s Jolly Jammers from St. Augusta, Minnesota, will play from 7 to 10 p.m..

Malek’s Fishermen Band will play for the polka Mass at 8 a.m. Sunday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. 

Dancing resumes at noon with Mark Vyhlidal Orchestra alternating with Brian Brueggen’s Mississippi Valley Dutchmen from Cashton, Wisconsin, until 6 p.m. The queen contest is also Sunday.

A free ice cream social will be 2-4 p.m. daily for the 15th anniversary. Czech meals will also be served daily, along with a full bar.
