Cranksgiving returns to Mason City on Saturday, Nov. 11.

The bicycle scavenger hunt, hosted by the Mason City Jaycees and Lorados, will benefit the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank and Humane Society of North Iowa. Individuals and teams receive a grocery list with specific items at select stores, plan a strategy, head out from Lorados at 11 a.m., and return by 1 p.m. Participants may also run.

There will be prizes for the fastest individual and team, plus drawings from receipts.

Participants should bring a bike, a lock, bag/backpack for food, and approximately $15-$20 for the items to be donated to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank and North Iowa Humane Society. Register on site at 10 a.m. at Lorados, 18 S. Federal Ave.

After party and awards is at 1 p.m. at Lorados, with chili for a free will donation for the food bank.
