Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a weekend of holiday fun during the annual Christmas by the Lake earlier this month in Clear Lake.
The event, in its 23rd year, benefited from warm weather. It is held the first weekend in December, and is hosted by the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
The weekend also includes One Vision's Festival of Trees, which opened its 22nd year with a "Lights On 5K" and its annual gala with music and hors d'oeuvres.
Christmas by the Lake featured horse-drawn carriage and Main Street Trolley rides, petting zoo, strolling Dickens characters, Santa in City Park, the lighted parade and fireworks over the lake, a Polar Bar Dip, Kids Treasure Hunt and the NordKor Children’s Choir Concert and Messiah Sing-along.
