An eight-foot Christmas tree filled with artist-made ornaments will be unveiled at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Hanson Gallery at the Clear Lake Arts Center, 17 S. Fourth St.
The artists will ‘Light the Tree’ at the Clear Lake Arts Center during Clear Lake’s Holiday Preview from 5 to 7:30.
“We asked our consignment artists to create Christmas ornaments for our gift shop again this year and the response has been phenomenal,” said Renae Quandt, the arts center’s gift shop manager.
Quandt said the evening will be filled with lights, music, food and prizes. The first 50 customers will receive a secret envelope, with a chance to win one of five prizes.
The fully-decorated tree takes center stage in the Hanson Gallery throughout the holiday season. All ornaments are for sale.
The arts center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
